Lil Triangle Dangle Ear, Brass Chain/Silver

Description

Jewellery designer Hannah K creates an interesting balance between linear and geometric shapes while incorporating organic elements.

Materials: brass chain and silver solder with silver wire.
Earring length: approx. 3.18 cm

Silver and brass will oxidise and patinate over time. This process is intended by the designer and should be celebrated while you wear and enjoy the pieces.

Each piece is handcrafted in Los Angeles.


Care instructions:
As Hannah K. jewellery is not chemically treated, oxidation may occur. They are less toxic in their raw state, but they are susceptible to tarnishing.
Brass and silver can be sustainably cleaned with a simple household remedy:
Heat enough apple cider vinegar to immerse the piece in.
Add a few generous pinches of salt. Swirl the piece in the mixture for 5 minutes.
Remove the piece and clean it with soap and water.
Repeat the process if necessary.
An abrasive sponge or old toothbrush can be used to further polish the piece.

There are also liquid chemical products sold at hardware stores that can remove tarnish very effectively.
