Nanga was founded in 1941 by Akira Yokota. The company Name was inspired by the Himalayan mountain NANGA PARBAT, which stands at 8126 meters and is the ninth highest mountain in the world. This challenging mountain has contributed to numerous deaths and earned the nickname 'Killer Mountain'. NANGA creates products that can overcome challenges in the most drastic conditions.
